Arts Academic
Pia Zierhut completed her education and training in fine arts at the renowned Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nürnberg, Germany in 2003. She returned as visiting lecturer in 2007 when she presented her paper, “Life After the Arts Academy: A Virtual Bike Ride through Manhattan” (published in” Getting out of the Ivory Tower!” in “New Paths of Art Colleges into Society,” Volume 1, Edited by Montag Foundation for Arts and Culture, Bonn, Germany, in cooperation with Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nürnberg, 112 pages, 110 ills. in color, with DVD Paperback, 24 x 18 cm E 24,00, sFr 43,00 ISBN 978-3-939738-91-6). Pia Zierhut also served as faculty instructor at a musical education workshop through the Bavarian Music Academy in Hammelburg, Germany in 2008.
